Mmm... The one bank I tried refused. The Darkness proofing on the house itself is damaged; they refused me on those grounds. Whether it is the main concern, or it's more the fact that I am a Newcomer, I don't know.

In that case, I can get you in touch with a lender that supports newcomer concerns. Many lenders here don't prefer to deal with newcomers as there is the chances that the core might take them away before the mortgage is paid, but there are a handful who are willing and even eager to deal with us.

I would appreciate that. I just want to be able to say the place is owned, so that I can start the repair work on it as soon as possible.

I won't make that decision myself, just because the others will be living there too; I value their input.

If I was a tyrant, I'd do that. But I'm not that kind of businessman, Sephiroth.
